Amy and I just got back from a cross country skiing/snow shoeing (is shoeing a word?) trip. We had a great time, but I found out something very disturbing about my wife. She has no respect for the proper usage of gear. It's one thing to find more than one way to use a piece of gear, or even use it for something completely unrelated. When I say unrelated I mean like using a carabiner to clip your camera case to your day pack, or maybe use your running shoes to go backpacking in.
What my wife did may be unforgivable. She used the mesh bag that her climbing harness is supposed to go in as a makeup bag. She says it is the perfect size and that actual makeup bags are always too small. Pantyhose over the shower curtain rod is one thing, but this is too much.

Although I'm a new invitee, I can't let this one pass. Who the heck uses their "mesh bag" to actually carry their harness? Give me a break. Amy's ingenuity far outstretches your gear "issue."
I can always count on you to set me straight. Thanks and welcome Janet.
