After my last post I didn't get the reaction I was looking for. I was hoping that Dave would help make me look a little more sane. I figured it must be because the pictures, for some reason, didn't turn out very clear. It was probably the way I copied and pasted them, and the fact that I couldn't post all of the photos. My solution? Post a link
https://picasaweb.google.com/grow.david/CurrentClimbingGear?feat=directlink# to the entire lot.
Somebody please get Dave some help. As for me. I can quit at any time. I just need a few more things for the Red rocks trip, the
Aravipa Trip, the
Teton trip, and the J-Tree trip. Really. I can.
On another note, how do you like the cover of Kelly
Clarkson's song. It's amazing how good some of these pop tart songs can be if a real band does them.

As per Wikipedia, addiction is, "a continued involvement with a substance or activity despite the negative consequences associated with it. Pleasure and enjoyment would have originally been sought, however over a period of time involvement with the substance or activity is needed to feel normal."
So, can climbing gear become an addiction? Maybe. But if so, it must take hold slowly because I still feel just as good every time I get more!
Good point Dave. Me too. We'll just keep an eye on each other to make sure we don't loose the enjoyment of new gear. I will test myself as often as I can.
This Dave fellow has more climbing gear than our local climbing gear shop. That's so cool.
As for the song, I really liked it. And it brought my 6 year old daughter into the room with a puzzled smile on her face. She didn't think the "boy" sang the song very well.
That is so cool that she recognized it Steve. That's what I thought when I heard Kelly Clarkson sing it. Different strokes............
I am not a Kelly Clakson fan enough to know that it was orignally done by her. I liked the cover version, except for the Cookie Monster solo.
The Cookie Monster part was my favorite.
