Admitting Defeat...........

I've been remodeling our bathroom for almost a year now. I keep putting off each step because I know that I will not be happy with the outcome no matter how hard I try to make it perfect. (OCD can be a terrible thing to live with). I have really been dreading setting the tile. That is the one step that if not done well can ruin the whole job. Saturday my dad came over to help me set tile. Everything went well until we started the second course. Amy and I had picked out 20" tiles, and they are very hard to set correctly. We ended up taking down all that we had already put up. I had to admit that I was in over my head, and that I would not be happy with the job we could do. I am now hiring a friend from work to set the tile. Epic Fail.
