Yesterday while Amy and I were trail running we came across this guy. Amy ran right by his head. Fortunately he was to cold to strike. I got a stick and moved him off the trail. I have decided that having Amy run in front of me is one of my better ideas. Now if I can just figure out how to get her to carry my water.

Oh, I HATE rattlesnakes!!! Always made me nervous hiking in AZ!
What the heck--what happened to chivalry? First the shoes, now this. You should be clearing the trail for you beautiful wife, not using her as a decoy. You would probably have more cool gear if you stepped up.

Hey, you guys are my "friends". You should be on my side. Anyway it is funny when she sees a snake. I couldn't catch her if I wanted to. She really takes off.
